Uplift Makers: Oaxaca Artesanía Collective Directory

Through the Uplift Makers: Oaxaca Artesanía Collective, Etsy and Nest are helping to create greater market access and income generation opportunities for Oaxacan artisans who have historically relied on local tourism to generate sales. A critical component of the launch will be providing longer-term support for artisans joining the program now and in the year ahead. This will include expert-led training on topics like digital marketing, best practices for international shipping, and optimized product photography.

Additionally, participants will gain access to a comprehensive resource library on how to build and grow an Etsy shop complete with training videos and guides. Beyond this, the program is designed to address financial barriers that new business owners face by waiving Etsy seller fees for a period of time.
