While representing a diversity of craft types–from basket weaving to hand dyeing, ceramics, and woodworking–Guild members are united in their pursuit of business growth and community improvement through their handcraft businesses.

Makers United, Nest’s program for US-based makers, is building a more vibrant and inclusive makers movement across the United States by providing maker entrepreneurs with the resources and market access opportunities they need to thrive.

The Ethical Handcraft program aims to bring visibility to artisans working inside homes and informal workshops, where transparency is often more challenging, ensuring that handworkers are compensated fairly and safe working conditions are prioritized.
